DOXA CHRISTIAN CHURCH DOXA CHRISTIAN CHURCH started with ten people in February 2013 following a number of Bible Studies and prayer meetings led by Pastor Jean Marc Desire in a home located in Plantation Florida. Pastor Jean Marc Desire is a missionary to the country of Haiti, and has been a pastor and church planter for over 25 years. During several evangelistic trips to South Florida, he was burdened with the number of Haitians residing in the community that are either unsaved, unreached or unchurched. He felt led by the Lord to plant Doxa Christian Church after gathering a few leaders and training a few men and women who are today in charge of the church who meets at the address 6012 NW 9th CT Margate Florida 33063. Doxa Christian Church is a spiritual community desiring to know God, to grow in Christ and to show the world who Jesus is. If you need a church home, DOXA would be glad to have you. God has called Pastor Desire to minister to the Haitian community at large; and toward that end, he planted that new church to reach out to Haitians in South Florida. The church is called DOXA CHRISTIAN CHURCH ( Eglise Chrétienne Doxa ). Doxa is the Greek word for glory as found in the text of the New Testament. Doxa Christian Church is a church with a mission to lead souls to accept Jesus as their savior, their Lord and their life, so that they can celebrate God’s glory, reflect it and be transformed by the perfect beauty of God. Doxa exists mainly to serve the gospel of Christ to the South Florida community in creole, French and English and to touch every soul everywhere. Pastor Jean marc Desire surrendered to preach at 18 years of age and has been involved in ministry in Haiti for over 25 years. He has a diploma in broadcast engineering from Cleveland Institute Of Electronics in Cleveland, Ohio. He has a graduate diploma in theology from Liberty Bible Institute Of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia; he holds degrees in Biblical Studies from Word Of life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake New York; a Bachelor in Theology from Bethany Divinity College and Seminary in Dothan, Alabama; a Master of ministry; a Master of Divinity from Luther Rice University in Atlanta, Georgia, and is a candidate for a Doctorate of Ministry at Luther Rice. Pastor Jean Marc Desire is married to Junie Desire ( a medical professional and a health manager graduate from the university of Montreal). They have two kids in their teens Marc Brian and Sarah and they all serve the Lord as missionaries to Haiti and to the Haitians.
